The biggest city in the Western hemisphere is running out of water​

The Atibainha dam lake dried up because of a prolonged drought in Nazare Paulista, Sao Paulo state.

Businessinsider.com reports that Sao Paulo, Brazil and its 20 million inhabitants is facing its biggest water crisis in more than 80 years.

It is not only a problem of drought.Without major changes to the city's infrastructure and planning, commentators say the crisis is bound to continue.
