Duke Energy takes aim at solar panels atop N.C. church

Duke Energy, North Carolina’s largest utility, wants state regulators to review the deal between the North Carolina Waste Awareness and Reduction Network and the Faith Community Church. The nonprofit environmental advocacy group has been selling the Greensboro, N.C., church cut-rate solar power for nearly five months in a controversial energy partnership.
