Poehner & Dillman Company Celebrates 132 years in Business
When businessmen, George Poehner and A.C. Dillman, started a company in the late 1890’s offering plumbing services in the Joliet, Illinois, area, they applied the same principle that had made Poehner & Dillman Company one of the largest hardware companies: Do whatever it takes to satisfy the customer. Today, the company celebrates its 132nd anniversary as PDM Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, and it continues to provide customer service and quality workmanship for residential and commercial plumbers.
“I’m humbled by the longevity and success of our company, but it’s only been possible because our team focuses on exceeding customer’s expectations every day,” said Rudy Mahalik, Jr., chairman of Poehner, Dillman & Mahalik, Inc. “At PDM, friendship starts by treating the customer right and being straight shooters about letting them know exactly what to expect. When customers give us a chance, they see we deliver our best because we want to stay in business for another 132 years.”
