Scott Reimer joins TMB Publications as Publisher of Plumbing Engineer and Director of Sales
TMB Publications, Inc. has announced that industry veteran Scott Reimer has joined the company as publisher of Plumbing Engineer and director of sales.
“I look forward to re-engaging with an industry I know and always enjoyed,” Reimer said. “I’m also sure I’ll be meeting some old friends again, who have spent a lifetime growing their PHCP businesses, and working for TMB, which has become interwoven into the PHCP industry.”
Reimer spent 10 years on PM Engineer, Plumbing & Mechanical and Supply House Times, moving up from regional sales manager to associate publisher and, finally, publisher of the PM Engineer. In that time, he led a 14-state territory and hired and managed a team of five sales professionals within a $3 million territory and $7 million team budget. During his tenure, he also served as the publication’s primary liaison with the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
He was ultimately recruited to serve as publisher of an $8 million trucking magazine and effectively grew revenue year-over-year even in a down market through identifying potential new clients, developing strong relationships with existing accounts and presenting customizing solutions and integrated marketing campaigns that best suited clients’ branding and marketing needs.
Reimer went on to gain further valuable experience in digital publishing, including content marketing, custom publishing webinars and social media campaigns, working with several niche marketers that created unique ways to extend advertising beyond print advertising.
In all, Reimer has almost 25 years of publishing experience.
“Scott has what we need to grow our magazines, both in terms of solid print sales management experience and in the digital sales side, which is becoming increasingly important for us,” said Dave Schulte, publisher at TMB Publishing.
